Arbequina Olives      

The arbequina olive originates in Catalonia, a region in northeast Spain.  The olive, small in size, is harvested by hand in the fall.  The green and slightly brown olives are hand selected then produced according to traditional processes, naturally cured in a brine of water, salt and herbs.  These Priorat Natur olives are 100% natural with no preservatives or artificial flavors.  This careful process creates an intense nutty, buttery flavored meaty olive with a soft texture.   Serve as an appetizer, on salads, with vegetables and in your cooking.

The arbequina olive is also the source of some of the finest olive oil produced in Spain.  Although small in size and yield, the quality, especially from the first cold press is high.
